What Does South Park Mean to You?
This is a picture from when we first put up these boards in the summer. Since then, many neighbors have written and drawn on them, please go to the menu “Let’s Create” to see photos and leave comments! All of the comments are important to what South Park is, the good, the bad, the changing. These boards were never meant to end with themselves- they are a spring for communal art projects about our South Park being, history, and future. We are spinning webs and plans towards murals and story/poetry/history collections. These illustrate who is here, who has been here, stories of immigration, stories of gentrification, stories of families and jobs and businesses here.
